Liss is a great place for a relaxed visit and a browse around independent village shops.
Within a short walk you’ll find a number of small indepenedent retailers incluidng a traditional butcher, baker, café, flower shop, pub and Liss Yarns selling wool, yarns, crafts, craft kits and a range of gift.
Parking is easy, with free parking outside many of the shops and free longer-stay parking nearby, so you can take your time and explore the village.
If you fancy stretching your legs, there’s a riverside walk and cycle path leading down towards the army ranges – perfect for a longer walk or bike ride. For families visiting with children or grandchildren, there’s also a new pump track in West Liss.
Whether you’re popping in for a coffee, a wander around the shops, or a walk by the river, Liss is a lovely village in which to spend a little time.
