Description

Level 3 – A three hour workshop for those who are looking for a bit more of a challenge

Amigurumi: a Japanese word for small crocheted toys and animals. This little pumpkin is aimed at more confident crocheters who are wanting a challenging seasonal project.

You will need to bring along your own yarn and appropriate hook for this workshop. Yarn thickness does not matter for learning the skills in this workshop, but a thicker chunky yarn is recommended to create a larger pumpkin. Choose a yarn that you are comfortable working with, and can easily identify your stitches. Fluffy or textured yarns will make it harder to see your stitches as you’re working them.

Polyfil stuffing will be provided to fill your pumpkin, but you are of course welcome to bring your own if you’d prefer. A yarn needle will be useful for sewing in ends, and you might want to have a stitch marker on hand.

If you’d like advice of which yarn to purchase to use in this workshop, please arrive a few minutes early and advice can be given in the shop.
