Learn to make these easy flowers and leaves to add some vibrant decoration to your home. A simple way to reinforce pattern reading for beginners, and an experiment in different ways to create shaping using a variety of basic stitches.
You will need to bring your own yarn and matching hooks for this workshop. The materials are up to you; only small amounts of yarn should be needed. Thicker yarn will create bigger flowers. Choose a yarn that you are comfortable working with, and can easily identify your stitches. Fluffy or textured yarns will make it harder to see your stitches as you’re working them.

I used scraps of a green cotton aran-weight yarn for the hanging string and leaves, and scraps of a purple acrylic dk-weight yarn for the flowers.
