Following on from the beginners foundation course, this level 2 crochet course is ideal for those who know their basic stitches and want to learn something new.
In this course you will learn to make these easy flowers and leaves to add some vibrant decoration to your home. It’s a simple way to reinforce pattern reading for beginners, and an experiment in different ways to create shaping using a variety of basic stitches.
You will need to bring your own yarn and matching hooks for this workshop. The materials are up to you; only small amounts of yarn should be needed. Thicker yarn will create bigger flowers. Choose a yarn that you are comfortable working with, and can easily identify your stitches. Fluffy or textured yarns will make it harder to see your stitches as you’re working them.

I used scraps of a green cotton aran-weight yarn for the hanging string and leaves, and scraps of a purple acrylic dk-weight yarn for the flowers.
