A fun stitch that’s often used for blankets or scarfs, using increases and decreases to create a ripple effect. This stitch can be used for scarves, or blankets of any size.
You will need to bring along your own yarn and appropriate hook for this workshop. Yarn thickness does not matter for learning the skills in this workshop. Choose a yarn that you are comfortable working with, and can easily identify your stitches. Fluffy or textured yarns will make it harder to see your stitches as you’re working them. The ripple stitch is quite effective when worked in a colour-changing yarn, or stripes, but it’s completely up to you. You will only need one ball to learn the technique in the workshop, but may need extra to complete a full project.
