Level 2 – For those who know their basic stitches and want to learn something new.
Make your own squishy chicken friend. A simple introduction to making a plush stuffed animal while working through a written pattern, these adorable chickens will soon have you wanting to make more.
What to bring:
- 1 ball of Chunky or Aran weight yarn for the main body, with its recommended hook size. (Solid colours with a smooth yarn texture are easiest for identifying stitch placement; chenille yarns can be trickier to identify stitches, but will create very soft fabric).
- Scrap yarn for the comb and beak (I will be providing some scrap yarn, but the colour choices will be random).
- Buttons/scrap yarn/large safety eyes for the eyes.
- If using buttons for eyes, some scrap yarn/thread/needle to sew them on.
- Yarn needle for sewing in ends.
- Stuffing (I will be providing polyfill).
