An introduction to working in the round, while making some decorations for your home! This three-hour workshop will reinforce your pattern reading, will teach you how to crochet in the round (including increases and decreases), and has the opportunity for colour work for more adventurous crocheters.
You will need to bring along your own yarn and appropriate hook for this workshop. Yarn thickness does not matter for learning the skills in this workshop. Choose a yarn that you are comfortable working with, and can easily identify your stitches. Fluffy or textured yarns will make it harder to see your stitches as you’re working them. This project can be completed using a single colour of yarn, but multiple colours will allow for stripes.
Polyfil stuffing will be provided to fill your bauble, but you are of course welcome to bring your own if you’d prefer. A yarn needle will be useful for sewing in ends, and you might want to have a stitch marker on hand.
